This is the benchmarks we have for our game, showing what is required at each level.
Level 1: Find
the Ring

Education
of the Ring : 
o   Describe
the plot and story line to Gabrielle (she has never seen it)
o   Watch
The Fellowship of the Ring as a group
·      
Create
Group Rules:

as Sam Gamgee (Group animator and enthusiasm leader)

“Bringing forth creative ideas and shit like

as Gandalf (Creative game play documenter)
o   Gabrielle
as Arwen (Facebook Coordinator and Task Maker)

Create
Tasks to Destroy the Ring: 
o   Create
a Facebook page for the group to communicate about the project (Gabrielle)

Map the
Route to Destroy the Ring:
o   Create
a Google Map featuring the 5 stops at each group member’s controversy to
complete the ring of unawareness (Trevor)
o   Begin
to brainstorm ideas to connect the fellowship to the Taskstream portfolio
(Andrew) 
·      
Document
the Meetings: 
o   Create  a reward system via Twitter (Nabilah)
o   Take
pictures of the group dynamic (Tim)
o   Photo
shoot group meetings and make an Animoto video at the end of the project (Tim) 
o   Make
a blog post reflecting on group experience and ideas on the Facebook page
Level
2: Assemble the Fellowship
·      
Gathering
the Fellowship:
o   Meet
Wednesday to discuss the tasks and group progress
o   Boost
Morale with movie night to watch the Fellowship of the Ring (Andrew)
o   Meet
two other times to update the group on work towards creating the portfolio
·      
Mapping
the Route to Mordor:
o   By
Wednesday have completed the Google Map outline
o   By
Thursday have begun assembling individual portfolios and connect ideas of the
game to the portfolio
o   By
Monday have given feedback to all group members about their portfolios
o   Update
the Facebook page on your progress with mapping your portion of the route
·      
Educate
about your Portion of the Route:
o   Educate
fellow group mates about your controversy
o   Peer
review past work with another group mate
o   Write
an observation about your efforts to destroy the ring of unawareness
Level 3: Educate People about the Ring
·      
Finalize
Drafts of Portfolio:
o   Complete
uploading of documents and media to portfolios
·      
Give
Feedback to Group Members: 
o   Read
over one person’s portfolio and provide at least 5 constructive comments 
o   Look
over two other portfolios and give general feedback
o   Challenge a group member to see their controversy in a new
way 
Level 4: Destroy the Ring of Unawareness 
·      
Finalizing
the Destruction of Unawareness:
o   Spread
awareness by telling at least 3 people about your controversy
o   Look
over one other person’s blog and provide feedback
o   Share
at least one other group member’s blog on Facebook 
o   Write
a brief synopsis of another group member’s controversy to post on the Google
Map
