The Journey...Documentation

Here we provide some images and text that documents a few of our steps in our quest.

The journey begins. Before we could make any move as a coherent unit, we needed to educate Gabrielle (Arwen) on "The Lord of the Rings," and we all needed to be fully on board with this idea for our project. Trust us, we were just as shocked as you are that she had not yet seen the film. We also thoroughly enjoyed watching such a badass movie for school.

We also had to assign character roles in order to truly identify with the film in order to achieve the best results. Therefore, we all picked a character that we thought resembled some of our characteristics.

Trevor is Legolas. Not only does he have incredible vision acting as a visionary for the group, but he also has a history with Legolas, as he dressed up with him in the fourth grade.
Gabrielle is Arwen. She just recently almost got hit by a car and realized her own mortality, similar to how Arwen realized her mortality by falling in love with Aragorn. Also, they both have brown hair!

Nabilah is Gandalf the Grey. Her skills with technology are simply not human, it must be wizardry. However, she is not yet Gandalf the white, as she has yet to face the grading of our journey.
Tim is Pippin. As the goofy one of the group, Tim easily identifies with Pippin. He often is wondering and questioning the direction of the group similar to how Pippin questioned the war. However even more important is the fact that he always delivers in the clutch moments, much like how Pippin convinced the Ents to join in their battle.
Andrew is Sam. The most obvious relation is his uncanny talents in gardening.  However, he also acts as the main support of the group carrying the ring just as Sam was the backbone when Frodo was weak. It is arguable if Frodo would have made it without Sam, and it is arguable if we would even be able to meet without Andrew.

Our next task was to start collaborating our ideas and thoughts as to the direction of the group. Now here is a montage of pictures documenting parts of our journey to destroy the ring of unawareness.

The creation of our FaceBook page

Our first ideas and branching out to other multimedia technology sources.

At first, our group did not all agree on the topic. However, that was quickly remedied with some team bonding!
